Love and Goodbyes

ree

How many souls are there, over that boundary line

Not an abyss, but a sheer ugly waste.

Rather I have failed to understand,

The experience of falling in love,

(That,) to fall in love, might save you,

(And so), learn then that I love you with a blind insensate passion

You swear, do you, that you were not to blame?

You have forced it from me at last

I beg of you to always love and to never cease loving,

The Man with a Heart of Gold

Whom (s)he loved dearly, Like all women who have never known what it is to fall in love

(For) Happy love has no history

(And) She'd inherited her mother's love (like the)

warm blood rushed in a crimson wave under the delicate skin

(Like a) young boy's joyous face that his father embraced him once again

The reason I'm unhappy is that

However much. You may deny death,

it never will deny you

For you have no wish, no enthusiasm to live

The life which shall have no end

So you have come to say goodbye

O spring, spring, season of love (which) seemed to lack everything
